Black gay Republican running for DC City Counsil

Marc Morgan is a 2014 Republican candidate for an at-large seat on the city council of Washington, D.C.
Marc Morgan is a gay Republican candidate running for the at-large D.C. Council seat. 


Washington, D.C. will hold city council elections on November 4, 2014. A primary election took place on April 1. Incumbent Anita Bonds defeated Nate Bennett Fleming, Kathy Henderson, Chantel Mapp, Pedro Rubio, John Settles, II and Kevin Valentine Jr. in the Democratic primary. Marc Morgan was unopposed in the Republican primary, G. Lee Aikin defeated Eugene Puryear in the D.C. Statehood Green Party primary and Frederick Steiner was unopposed in the Libertarian primary. Bonds will face Morgan, Aikin and Steiner in the general election
