Big Wins for Black Republicans in 2014 Election

African-American GOP candidates Will Hurd and Mia Love were elected to Congress. Love is the first Hatian-American and first black female GOP Rep. in Congress. Will Hurd, a 30 something black former CIA agent will represent Texas. S.C. Sen. Tim Scott's victory makes him the first black senator elected from the South since Reconstruction.
