On the history of “Take Back Our Country”

Via HotAir.com, a worthwhile rebuttal to Eugene Robinson's recent tirade that the“Take Back Our Country” signs "arose after the first African American family moved into the White House."

It’s tempting to dismiss Eugene Robinson’s column on race and politics as sheer nonsense, but it’s not entirely without wisdom. Even its wisdom tends to undermine Robinson’s point as a whole, however, and his lack of research into recent history demolishes his overall argument.
