Free Marissa Alexander: What the Right should do post Zimmerman

Marissa Alexander has gone from being battered by her abusive husband to being battered by an inflexible criminal justice system.

 In May of 2012, Marissa Alexander, a mother, licensed and trained gun owner/CCW permit holder, domestic abuse survivor, teacher and member of a military family, was prosecuted and convicted of three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to harm for firing a warning shot into the ceiling to deter her abusive husband, Rico Gray, from attacking her in her home on August 1st, 2010.
