Bruce Springsteen - My Hometown

Despite Bruce being an "uber-liberal", I have always loved his music.  According to Wikipedia (I know, not the most reliable source..) the song 'My Hometown' centers around Springsteen's own hometown of Freehold Borough, New Jersey, in particular the racial strife in 1960s  and the economic tensions from the same times.

Fun Fact: Despite NJ  being blue collar, union state, in 1980 and 1984, New Jerseyans overwhelmingly voted for Ronald Reagan.

If Republicans are ever going to earn these blue collar votes again,  it will need candidates that look and sound like normal folk. Romney and Huntsman, didn't 'look'' like normal folk and Rick Santorum and others sure as hell didn't ''sound'' like normal folk. The Party needs a candidate that can balance these two different needs. Bill Clinton and Ronald Reagan were able to do it.

If Party thinks Rand Paul, Michelle Bachman, Jeb Bush and Rick Perry are the answer, they are in for one hell of a ride.
